Today we’re putting together skills learned this week to follow a recipe and whip up something sweet! Follow one of our kid-friendly treat tutorials below, or bust out a family favorite with your little sous chef!

SKILL SUPPLY LIST: will vary depending on what recipe you choose!

VOCABULARY TO INTRODUCE:

  • general: recipe, measure, whip, bake, etc.
  • treat terms: pastry, mousse, custard, tart, etc.
  • names of ingredients: vanilla extract, baking powder, baking soda, gelatin, cream, etc.
